Questions

The things people ask before starting.

If the answer you need is not here, the app has a feedback control once you have an account — corrections and questions both go to the same place.

Which languages can I learn, and at which levels?

Modern Greek, Modern Dutch and Modern Spanish, each from A1 to C1. Every level is a course with its own units, lessons, review queue and level check. The curriculum page lists every unit.

What is the difference between Lexi Lite, Plus and Pro?

All three include the whole course. Lite has no AI conversations, but you can ask your teacher a question in any lesson. Plus adds 30 AI conversations a month and the free, lesson, read and pronunciation modes. Pro adds 120 and the role-play and exam modes.

How many units and lessons are there?

Lexi Lite is €6.99 a month or €54.99 a year; Lexi Plus is €12.99 a month or €99.99 a year; Lexi Pro is €19.99 a month or €149.99 a year. Every new account starts with 3 days of full access and nothing is charged until you choose a plan. Cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Do I need game mode?

No. XP, hearts, streaks and cosmetics are a layer you can switch off. Every lesson, review, story and exercise works without them, and progress is measured against the language rather than the streak.

How much time does a lesson take?

A lesson is a handful of exercises and takes about ten to fifteen minutes. A review session can be two. The daily goal is a number of minutes you choose, and it changes nothing about what is available.

What does it cost?

Lexi Plus is €12.99 a month or €99.99 a year; Lexi Pro is €19.99 a month or €149.99 a year. Every new account starts with 3 days of full access and nothing is charged until you choose a plan. Cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Is the interface in my language?

You choose it separately from the language you learn: English, Greek, Dutch or Spanish. Reading the site in Dutch while learning Greek is a supported combination, and switching one never moves the other.

Do the AI tutors always work?

They run on a provider that a deployment configures. Where none is configured, the app says so instead of pretending: the lesson, review, reading, listening and speaking practice do not depend on it.

How is pronunciation scored?

By comparing your recording with a reference and reporting what the recogniser found — words heard, words missed, and a similarity measure where one exists. It does not claim phoneme-level accuracy, and it says when it cannot judge.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Your account can be exported, and it can be deleted from the settings screen without asking anyone. Deleting it removes the account and its progress.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The interface is built mobile-first in the browser, with a desktop layout that uses the extra space rather than stretching the phone one.

Is it accessible with a keyboard or a screen reader?

Keyboard navigation, visible focus, landmarks, labelled controls and reduced-motion support are part of the build, not a later pass. If something is unreachable, that is a bug worth reporting.

How do I know my level?

Each level is described by what you can do at it — the CEFR can-do statements on the languages page — and the course places you at A1 unless you have completed work that says otherwise. A level check is a check, not a badge.

What is Lexi built with?

A web application and an API, in a browser. Progress is recorded by the server rather than trusted from the browser, which is why it survives a cleared cache and a new phone.
